Googled

Stats tell me visits to this blog are up, the array of visitors every widening. This is counter-intuitive because 1) I’ve been a poor blogger of late, and 2) comments evidence visits from a faithful few, not a widening many (if you discount spammers).

It turns out that one particular category (commentary) and one particular image within that category are netting all the attention. So, is the world beating a path to my door to access one of my photographs taken with the wonderful camera? Well, no.

It’s this way. If you Google the name “Pol Pot,” a picture I posted of Pol Pot lying dead on a bare mattress is the second image returned. Yes, indeed, Pol Pot lying dead on a mattress, along with the link to the accompanying post, is my claim to fame, folks. There you have it ;->.

Comments (2) to “Googled”

  1. The most traffic my blog has ever gotten was during two weeks last summer when I was off on a raft trip AND DID NOT POST ANYTHING.

I figured out later it was because of a post I had put up earlier that month with the title “Sex on the Beach.”

    Ah, well.

  2. At least I can understand the draw of your post:->. I thought mine a little macabre at the time, but I was still intrigued by the photographs, or, more accurately, by how photographs work.
